Is #sanctionPakistan the Panacea for Afghanistan's Chaos?

I have regularly been asked to post #sanctionPakistan, but as usual, I have more questions and concerns before making such posts.

1. Will #sanctionpakistan resolve the level of corruption in the government that has been rife for the past couple of decades?
2. Will #sanctionpakistan transfer trillions of dollars from the pockets of our corrupt leaders to funding projects aimed at eligible recipients – millions of men, women, and children with a hope for peace through education, justice, and democracy?
3. Will #sanctionpakistan make governors and other corrupt politicians stop spending thousands of dollars in a suit or a watch while the nation is starving?
4. Will #sanctionpakistan allocate trillions of dollars to ensure training the Afghan National Army and the Police since 2001?
5. Will #sanctionpakistan develop strategies and policies for countering terrorism and the inflow of extremism in Afghanistan especially after trillions of dollars were spent in Afghanistan?
6. Will #sanctionpakistan instil a sense of humanity, fairness, and justice in our corrupt leaders?
7. Will the #sanctionpakistan resolve internal ethnic tensions?

Let’s stop looking outward and start looking inward. No one is going to help us unless we help ourselves. Sanctioning our corrupt leaders should be our priority, instead. Playing victim mentality, which has been the case for decades by soliciting money and support from the international community, blaming the neighbours, hasn’t and won’t transform Afghanistan into a stable country. If recognizing and mobilizing Afghanistan’s strengths (i.e., geopolitical position, enthusiastic and determined youth, mineral resources, etc.) do not become a priority, the country will continue being in chaos and instability.
